The UK will tighten the conditions for expats to stay in the country

				06.12.2023
The UK government continues to fight migrants and has announced a new package of measures to reduce visitors to the country. This time, the changes will affect even qualified workers. The Government plans to raise the required level of their minimum wage.

According to recent estimates, the minimum annual salary threshold for foreign skilled workers will increase by more than £10,000 to £38,700. At the same time, the Government will review the list of positions for which exceptions have been made due to a lack of workers in specific areas.

The government will also tighten family reunification rules for such workers.

The package of measures is planned to be implemented in the spring of 2024.
