Will the UAE support the introduction of a Global minimum tax?

The United Arab Emirates has published Law No. 60 of 2023, which amends some provisions of Law No. 47 of 2022 (Corporate Tax Law).
The amendments are being made in preparation for the introduction of a Global Minimum Tax and affect, among other things, the definitions of "income tax" and "multinational enterprise".
At the moment, the amendments do not contain any specific rules for the actual introduction of a Global Minimum Tax. It is assumed that this will be done later.
