According to the results of a study by Henley & Partners, another 4,500 millionaires may move to the Arab Emirates in 2023.
The migration report was created in partnership with New World Wealth and contains forecasts for net inflows and outflows of dollar millionaires in 2022 (the difference between the number of those who moved and those who left the country). New World Wealth is an independent research company that tracks the trends of international migration of private capital over the past ten years. The reporting figures relate only to people with a fortune of USD 1 million and those who have moved permanently to a new country and have been living in it for at least six months.
The UAE has recently undertaken a number of economic, legal and social reforms to improve the comfort of life, improve the business environment, stimulate foreign direct investment and attract qualified workers. It is expected that in 2023 the UAE will have the highest net inflow of wealthy people (high-net-worth individuals, HNWIs) in the world. This is more than a 200% increase compared to the net influx of 1,300 people in 2019 and a record figure in the entire history of observations.
The Arab Emirates are gradually becoming a place of concentration of large capital and high technologies. Investments flow here, useful acquaintances are made here between large entrepreneurs from all parts of the world and completely new horizons for business are opening up.
