Joint session of SK and FNS: the fight is still there.

				03.06.2014

The work results of 2013 and of the first 4 months of 2014 were summed up at joint session of Investigative Committee (SK RF) and Federal Revenue Service (FNS).

According to the art. 44 of CPC of Russian Federation into budget system was retuned 6,7 billions of rubles from the cases of abusers of tax law. Claims over 2,6 billions rubles were made by tax authorities in the first 4 months of 2014, that is 4 times higher than the level of the same period of 2013.

Also in the framework of interdepartmental cooperation relevant problems of coordination between tax, enforcement and investigative authorities were discussed. The possibilities of repatriation of capital going abroad and the creation of the exhaustive list of measures that constitutes crime in Criminal Code were considered as priorities.

Expert’s opinion

The toughening of tax measure is working, and there it is impossible to deny it. Numbers are speaking for themselves. Last year Federal Law from 28.06.2013 №134-FZ amended Criminal Code of Russian Federation, in particular, art. 193 “Evasion from the performance of duty of repatriation of money in foreign currency or in currency of Russian Federation” and also art. 193.1 “Use of fake documents in currency transaction of transferring funds in foreign currency or currency of the Russian Federation to non-resident accounts”. Legal ground for the criminal responsibility were created, therefore there is no surprise in the results gained. In new reality we should act professionally, correct and legally – and here only experienced lawyers can help you
