In the near future will come into force amendments to the
Companies Law (2012 Revision)
of the Cayman Islands that were published in the official publication in early October.
Amendments have been made in several articles relating to the fees. So, the fee for submitting an application on behalf of the company to the exclusion from the Register of companies was increased from 50
Cayman Islands dollars to 70 (which is equivalent to USD 90).
In addition, changes were introduced into 200th article that regulates the fee for filing an
application for change of the name of the company. It was increased from 75 to 100
Cayman Islands dollars (USD 119). To the same article was added the fee for submitting an application for re-registration in case of absorption equal to 400
Cayman Islands dollars (USD 475).
The annual fee paid by companies every January after a year from the moment of registration, increased by 100
Cayman Islands dollars.

Companies, foundations, trusts, banks, registered in the
Cayman Islands, have always been expensive tool in the tax and inheritance planning.
The cost of registration has no impact on the users of such tools. Nevertheless, there is inflation, caused by the enormous flow of newly printed dollars. And it is necessary to pay salaries to the
clerks, who register the companies.
We observe the simple increase of the prices, is the same as in the rest of the world. It is worthwhile to pay attention to the fact that offshore tools (and the
Cayman Islands - it is an offshore zone) is in demand and operates quietly at the side of the United States.
For users of the EU and the CIS is not less attractive jurisdiction, which are much closer and more convenient from the point of view of the service. When we have a day -
Cayman Islands sleep. But
Cyprus, Malta,
Great Britain,
Austria, Liechtenstein, Latvia, etc. - are working properly, that greatly facilitates communication with the same banks.
