Has the USA the “Afghan campaign” in mind again?

18.05.2012 On 17th May 2012 the House of Representatives of the Senate approved the continuation of the “Afghan campaign”.  But during the voting process in the lower chamber of Congress a new amendment was proposed under which financing of military operations in Afghanistan could be directed only to withdraw American troops and civil officers out of the country.

In compliance with the Plan of the US President’s Administration the troops are to be fully withdrawn till 2014. But Barack Obama’ Administration has already criticized the amendments moved by the congressmen.  And it is quite possible that the White House will put a veto upon the budget of military expenses 2013 if the congressmen will further insist on adoption of these amendments.

It is well - known that Barack Obama paid a surprise visit to Kabul on 2nd May 2012. There the USA and Afghanistan signed a ‘Strategic Partnership Agreement' about the assistance to Afghanistan in the post-war rebuilding of the country and strengthening of its sovereignty after 2014.

However, it is obvious that the USA and Afghanistan are going to continue the anti-terroristic operations in this region. It is quite beneficial for the USA on one hand to stop a long campaign which has already caused almost 2 thousand deaths of solders and for which American taxpayers have given about 1,3 billion dollars, and on the other hand for Washington to proceed its presence there, where it can under cover of the anti-terroristic actions further redeploy and allocate additional military units.

Expert’s opinion

“For some people war is war, for others - dear mother”. Nobody could better comment on military actions. Nevertheless it is worth describing the situation not only from the position of those who benefit directly, but also from the point of view, how a war effects on us.

In order to get a full picture one should remember that the USA started up the printing machine, which prints dollars for the whole world. We all understand Russia stabilizes the surplus of petrodollars allotting them in the USA. It turns out that America prints dollars for the world, and this world instead of transferring oil and valuable goods sends this money back. And the problem of excessive surplus of money is the problem of the USA and the easiest way to solve it is – That is right! You have got it! – a small military conflict will eat up sufficient amount of money. As a bonus the USA gets an approval of its military force’s strength and everybody knows who the “Owner on the Earth” is. If you ask me, what we benefit from it, the answer will be – all of this. The shed of “bad blood” launches mechanism of the rejuvenation of our organism. The countries begin to move and work, people earn much money and everybody feels to be necessary, even the governments’ critics.
