						On August 09, 2020 it became known that Malta and Luxembourg agreed to increase the withholding tax rates on dividends and interest transferred from Russia. In the near future, the rate will increase from 5% to 15%. This was reported on the website of the "Russian newspaper".

The final changes to the Agreement on the avoidance of double taxation will be made after the end of negotiations with the Republic of Cyprus on a similar question.
