The Swiss financial market supervision authority (FINMA) will grant a fintech-license to companies under section 1b of the banking Act. This license will allow crypto-currency companies to accept deposits of up to 100 million Swiss francs. In order to obtain a license, companies must have the legal form of limited liability companies or companies limited by shares or corporations with unlimited liability, as well as to operate in Switzerland.
