Did the exchange with the UK stop?

On March 15th, 2019 Great Britain excluded Russia from the list of engaged in the automatic exchange of financial information, according to «The Bell».

Now the Federal Tax Service of Russia will be able to take information about the assets of the Russians in British financial institutions only by request. There is no explanation why the UK excluded Russia from the list. But the Federal Tax Service refutes this information in every way.

Information about the accounts of Russian residents, opened in financial institutions of the UK in 2018 and further periods won’t be sent to Russia.

Nevertheless the information of 2017 was been provided to Russia because the financial exchange relations between Russia and Great Britain were active.
