Singapore and Switzerland signed an agreement on the automatic exchange of information

On 17th of July 2017, on a working meeting of the Global Forum on Transparency and Exchange of information for tax purposes in Geneva Singapore and Switzerland signed an agreement on the automatic exchange of information. This information was announced on the official website of State Secretariat for International Financial Matters (Switzerland).

It is worth noting that it is the first time that Switzerland is hosting a meeting of this nature.

It is expected that this agreement will be enforced on the 1st of January 2018, and the first exchange will be in 2019.
