Foreign companies may obtain the information from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities in electronic form

The Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation published the Letter of 14 June 2017 N GD-4-14/11209@. The Letter explains the procedure for obtaining information from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities in electronic form for obtaining by foreign companies. Information from the register will be provided on a fee basis.

To obtain the relevant information, it is necessary to submit a request for information contained in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, with the use of the Internet (hereinafter – “the Request”). Also the original document confirming the payment must be provided. It must have a Bank stamp marked "Paid" or "Accepted".

The above-mentioned set of documents must be mailed to the address of the Interregional Inspectorate of the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation for centralized data processing. Access data establish on the basis of the Request for recipient of information (the recipient's name, password, and other attributes of identification).

Then provided information may be directed in several ways:

-by e-mail without SSL encryption;

-by e-mail with SSL encryption.
