The legislative framework for the reform of corporate taxation is ready in Switzerland

				02.04.2015

Swiss Federal Council announced that the third package of legislative proposals for the reform of corporate taxation in the country is almost ready. It is planned to be submitted for approval by the Swiss Parliament in June 2015.

The third package provides the abolition of the Switzerland law provisions, which do not meet the international standards. A new special regime of taxation of royalties is supposed to be created at the cantonal level.

According to the package, cantons will receive 20% of their income in the local budgets from direct federal taxes, while now they only receive 17.5%.
