The Latvian economy is one of the fastest growing ones in Eurozone. This is a conclusion of researchers, who prepared an Economic Report on Latvia for OECD.
The Report was presented in Riga by OECD Chief Economist Catherine L. Mann and Latvian Economics Minister Dana Reizniece-Ozola.
It is marked that despite the slowdown in economic processes in the international economic environment in 2014, Latvia is expecting a GDP growth by 3,2% in 2015 and by 3,9% in 2016.
Among the recommendations the Report notes: the improvement of business environment by reducing market access barriers and reducing the bureaucracy in the relations of government and business. The improvements in the management of state enterprises is also said to be needed.
