St. Kitts and Nevis economy is growing

				06.10.2014

The condition of economy is improving in Republic of St. Kitts and Nevis since 2013 allowing country to take a leading position amongst the member-countries of Eastern Caribbean Currency Union (ECCU).

Governor Venner announced first five points of the Eight Point Programme on the development of economy. Among the first announced measures are implementation of financial programs, fiscal reform, and debt management, realization of the program on investments into public and private sector and development of the social security structures.

“The other element which has made the recovery positive has been the Citizens by Investment Programme, which has brought in much needed foreign exchange from which the government could embark on an effective stimulus programme and finance the social safety nets. This programme is now being emulated by other members of the Currency Union and we hope that it can bring them similar benefits,” the Central Bank Governor said.

Expert’s opinion

Right now there are 193 states in UN.

Passport of St. Kitts and Nevis citizen allows visiting more than 130 states without visa.

The visa is still need for USA, though you can visit without one such countries as UK, France, Germany, Austria and other countries of EU.

The other benefit of this citizenship is the fact that state authority does not make the actual residence in islands obligatory to the citizens and to not have any restrictions with regards to the time spent in country.

St. Kitts and Nevis loves their citizens even if they live in Russia, Ukraine or in Austria on the daily basis.

What a great country!
