Tax Policy of the Russian Federation is expected to be predictable

				25.01.2012
Recently the Russian President Dmitry Medvedev in the speech at the commission on modernization outlined the important question of predictability of the tax system in Russia. He noted that a clear advantage to attract foreign investors is not increase of tax rates in the next two or three coming years.

Dmitry Medvedev stressed the necessity to establish baseline rates of taxes and payments in the medium term. Above all predictability for investors who expect to invest in the Russian economy must be provided.

Another point highlighted in the course of the speech of President of the Russian Federation is to improve the control system of industrial safety at the facilities conducted by Federal Service of Ecological, Technological and Nuclear Supervision. According to experts opinion, the result of this service seriously affects the investment climate in the country.
Expert’s opinion

“The speech of the Russian President Dmitry Medvedev on modernization commission can truly be called a long-awaited. If in the next few years Russian tax rates remain unchanged, this will have a positive impact on the economy of the country.

Provision of predictability of the tax policy in Russia will become obvious incentive to attract foreign investment into various sectors of the economy”.
