Austria and Slovenia: a new stage of relations development

				03.10.2011

Recently the DTA agreement has been resigned between Austria and Slovenia. Both countries explain this revision necessity of document several provisions in order to establishment of closer economical links, tax transparency provision between the states. The officials of two European countries declare about further trade turnover increase of Slovenia and Austria. Even now these states are large trade partners, the majority of Slovenia import are Austrian goods.

Expert’s opinion

“DTAA between those states that actively cooperate in trade and investment spheres is a comfortable mechanism for improving economical and political links between appropriate countries. Such documents contain incentives for cooperation strengthening of states e.g. decreased tax rates, certain facilities for companies in trade spheres and so on. Austria and Slovenia that have already been partners in business trade leading only strengthen their positions, that’s important in crisis period that has come to Europe”.
