Kazakhstan will issue IIN to foreigners in embassies

08.04.2024 Kazakhstan will issue individual identification numbers (IINS) to foreigners at embassies and consulates from April 13 until the end of this year. The relevant order was signed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Finance of the country.

The order of receipt will look like this:

1. To obtain an IIN, a foreign citizen must submit an application to a foreign institution of Kazakhstan that participates in the program, provide a copy of the passport and the original for verification;
2. The Consul checks the documents and forms the IIN in the integrated information system of the Public Service Center (PSC) of Kazakhstan;
3. The operator of the Ministry of Internal Affairs checks the application and, if it is correct, approves the IIN;
4. The Consul certifies the registration certificate and issues it to the applicant.
