Kazakhstan has published a "white list" of CFC countries

18.07.2023 Kazakhstan has been published Order No. 680 of June 19 approving the list of countries with a valid income tax agreement with Kazakhstan and a nominal income tax rate exceeding 75% of the Kazakhstan income tax rate.

This list is used in relation to the Law on Controlled Foreign Companies (CFC) of Kazakhstan, which provides an exception to the rules for non-resident legal entities and other organizations registered in states that meet the requirements for a tax agreement.

The list approved by the Order includes:

Austria, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Belgium, Germany, India, Iran, Ireland, Spain, Italy, Canada, China, South Korea, Latvia, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Mongolia, the Netherlands, Norway, Pakistan, Poland, Russia, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Finland, France, Croatia, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Sweden, Estonia, Japan, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, UK, USA and Vietnam.
