On June 26th, 2018, the Bill Withdrawing the UK from the EU (The EU Withdrawal Act), took effect after being approved by the Queen.
The adoption of the new law means that the provisions of the European Communities Act dated 1972 (European Communities Act) will lose their force. Recall that, on the basis of the Law on European Communities, Britain was accepted into the EU, and European acts took precedence over the national laws of the country.
It is planned that the UK will leave the European Union on March 29, 2019, however, ministers can change the release date if necessary.
