Nordea’s and DNB’s bank to be named Luminor

						Nordea and DNB banks have concluded an agreement on merger of activities in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. The name of Nordea's united bank and DNB in the Baltic countries will be Luminor.
Nordea and DNB in the new bank will have equal voting rights. The distribution of economic property rights will be based on the value of the existing capital of the enterprise and the total contribution to the new bank at the time of the transaction.
The deal to create a new bank will be concluded in the second quarter of 2017. Luminor will become the largest bank in the Baltics.
