Changes in Belize Registries management.

The decision of Belize Government will become law in 11 June 2013, according to this, the Government of Belize will take control over the International Business Company Register and the International Merchant Marine Registry of Belize.

Today, all of the new certificates of incorporation and other documents issued by both of the registers, should be signed by Mr. Marion Palacio, recently appointed as a deputy of secretory, or by Mr. Gian Gandhi, general director of the International Financial Services Commission and the secretary-registrar of both registers.

In the same way, all of the resources, used to pay the fees and fines in both registers, should be paid for the Government of Belize. For each payment there will be issued an official account from the Government of Belize.

It is emphasized, that it is a Government`s self intention to improve the services, provided by the two registries, and, at the same time, a response to the compliance with international standards. Registries will continue providing the high-quality services controlled by the new management of the entire registration agents and international investors.

Expert’s opinion

The Belize`s Government decision to take control of keeping the register- can be evaluated extremely positively. For today, all European company registers are accountable to the government or to the other senior executive authorities. By this decision, the government focuses on foreign investments in the country, and on the desire to provide the better and more reliable service for company registration.

Thus, having a company registered in Belize, you can obtain a certificate of registration and the following documents with the signature of representatives of the Government.
