FATF has excluded Ukraine from its “black list”

				01.11.2011
On the 27th of October the current year at the meeting of international organization Financial Action Task Force – FATF – Ukraine was excluded from the “black list”; its thorough monitoring and careful watching for Ukraine legislation and its application were stopped.

Let’s recall that Ukraine has been in FATF “black list” from 2002 up to 2004, then after the “white” break it was again included in the list of this organization in 2010.

Positive decision to Ukraine benefit was made because of drafting legislative projects by the National bank and the state financial monitoring service in order to comply with FATF standards.
Expert’s opinion

“Ukraine exclusion from the “black list” of international organization FATF should bring the most favorable effect on investment climate of the state. Deletion the states from such “black lists” is the incentive for authority and financial flows increase. In the crisis situation any positive changes of the country status can be determinative ones in the case of choosing the state as the jurisdiction for investment”.
