Description

Founded in 1927, Raiffeisen Zentralbank Österreich AG is the central institution of the largest Austrian banking groups Raiffeisen Bankengruppe Österreich (RBG) and Raiffeisen Bank International AG (RBI).
The bank's headquarters are located in Vienna. Raiffeisen Zentralbank Osterreich calls itself the third largest banking group in Austria, and The Banker magazine included it in the second hundred largest banks in the world. Raiffeisen Zentralbank (RZB) owns subsidiary banks in 17 Eastern European countries. The income of the RZB Group amounted to 547 million euros before taxes in the first half of 2010. There is a subsidiary bank in Russia — Raiffeisenbank.
