Obtaining a residence permit in France


							France is one of the most favorable countries for obtaining the status of a residence permit without restrictions on the duration of residence in the country and additional investments. 

The residence permit of France is issued for a year on the basis of confirmation of the financial solvency of the client.
As proof of well-being, it is necessary to provide a certificate from the bank with an account balance of about 70,000 EUR.
N.B. You can provide a certificate from a Russian bank indicating the amount in rubles equivalent to euros. The certificate must not be from a sanctioned bank.

The process of obtaining a residence permit:

1. Obtaining a D visa

To obtain a D visa, it is necessary to prepare and submit documents through the French Embassy. Each of the family members prepares and submits documents to the Embassy of Moscow for a D visa.
The required package of documents for obtaining a D visa:

- Internal and foreign passports
- Notarized copy of the birth certificate
- Notarized copy of the marriage certificate (if applicable)
- Certificate of no criminal record (issued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs)
- Bank reference
- Certificate from the place of work
- Certificate of absence of debts from the tax service
- Diploma of higher education
- Vaccination book for children (if applicable)
- Certificate of ownership of real estate
- Medical insurance with coverage of at least 30 thousand euros, valid on French territory
- Real estate rental agreement in France


N.B. All documents must be submitted with a notarized translation into French.
N.B. Initially, all documents are submitted electronically for verification, after which a package of documents required for translation, notarization and apostille is formed.

As a rule, a D visa is issued within 3-4 weeks.
After obtaining a visa, you must enter France for a few days and provide a scanned copy of the stamp of entry into the country.

2. Second visit to France.

2-3 months after the first entry, they are invited to France for the second time to undergo biometrics and provide additional documents. It is necessary to come for a few days.
After passing biometric tests and submitting documents, a special sticker is pasted into the passport - Vignette (Vignette.)
After 10-12 months, the residence permit is extended and a plastic card (Carte de sejour) is issued.
