According to a new study by Forbes Advisor, Singapore is recognized as the safest city in the world for tourists.
The rating took into account factors such as crime rate, quality of healthcare and disaster risks, infrastructure, and digital security risks.
Cities were assigned safety scores from 0 to 100, with the safest cities receiving the lowest scores. Singapore scored 0 points and became the leader.
Tokyo and Toronto took the second and third places among the safest cities for travelers. Tokyo has the lowest level of health risk, which indicates the quality of medical services in the city, and the 5th place in terms of infrastructure security.
Japan and Australia are the only countries with 2 cities in the TOP 10.

Only 1 city received 100 points and the highest risk level is Caracas, Venezuela - the city with the highest risk to health, low level and quality of medical services and infrastructure, as well as the highest crime rate.
