Federal Tax Service of Russia will launch a risk register

				25.04.2019

By the end of the year, the Federal Tax Service of Russia will launch the Risk Register - an integrated system that will allow the creation of assessment models, as well as industry cards for timely informing taxpayers of possible risks. This was announced by the representative of the Federal Tax Service of Russia at the annual meeting of the working group on risk management within the framework of the OECD Tax Administration Forum in Paris.

He emphasized that the introduction of a single repository of risk information will significantly increase the efficiency of tax administration. It was noted that the emphasis will shift towards preventive tax control and will create conditions for a more trusting relationship between the taxpayer and the tax authority.

The participants in the working group emphasized that it is necessary to create uniform standards and rules for describing risks, as well as develop a methodology for compiling risk maps. In the future, this will allow tax administrations to effectively share information on identified risks.
