UBS will give the French authorities information about their customers

On July 26th, 2019, the Swiss Federal Court ruled in the UBS case. The court ordered the Bank to transfer to the French tax authorities information about 40 thousand clients living or previously living in France and subject to taxation here.

The requested data include:

• Customer account information;

• Customer name;

• The place of registration of clients.

It is spread to the period from 2013 to 2015. The purpose of the request for data on clients of UBS is to check them on the subject of tax evasion.
