On March 26th , 2019, the European Parliament approved a tax resolution aimed at ensuring of efficient and fair taxation, as well as combating the financing of terrorism.
The resolution includes the following important provisions:
• On the creation of a European financial police;
• On the creation of a position of an EU observer in combating money laundering;
• On the establishment of an international tax authority within the UN;
• On the abolition of "golden" visas.
Besides that, Belgium, Cyprus, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Hungary, Ireland and Malta were marked as countries with signs of offshore jurisdictions.
If the above-mentioned countries do not make amendments to tax planning, they will be included in the black list of EU jurisdiction.
