At the moment Norway that is one of the prosperous Scandinavian countries with high level of economy has a big problem with selling such an ordinary product as butter. The reason for that experts name miscalculation of the country's needs by dominant in such a market cooperative Tine, that sent to export a large supply of the product.
Today for half a kilogram of butter in the store you have to pay about 500 Norwegian kronas (about 3,000 rubles). Packages of the weight of 12gramm are offered for sale for 75 Norwegian kronas (about 400 rubles). It is not a good situation because of the coming Christmas and New Year holidays.
The Norwegian government has reduced customs duties on the product up to four Norwegian kronas per kilo against the previous 25.19 per kilo (140 rubles).
