Montenegro revokes citizenship?

Montenegro plans to revoke investment citizenship from persons who have been sanctioned.
This decision was made on the basis of the recommendations of the European Commission on the mechanism for suspending the issuance of visas.
The Government of Montenegro notified the Commission that it undertakes to initiate the procedure for the loss of Montenegrin citizenship by virtue of law in respect of any EU citizen who appears on international sanctions lists.
