UAE launches a single platform for foreign workers

04.09.2024 The UAE government has announced the launch of a single online platform for foreign specialists and the launch of the second stage of the Work Bundle program aimed at increasing the country's competitiveness and attractiveness as a leading global center.

The Work Bundle operates on the basis of the digital platform "Work in the UAE", which unites individuals, investors and companies, and facilitates the procedures for employment and obtaining a visa.
The platform provides a range of services for visiting specialists, such as: issuing a visa and an employment contract, requesting a status change, issuing an Emirates ID, medical examination services, and also allows you to obtain, extend and cancel an employment contract, a resident visa and a work permit.

Now the specialist needs to complete only 5 steps using 5 documents, instead of 15 actions and 16 documents.

The number of customer visits to service centers has also been reduced from 7 to 2, and the processing time for applications has been reduced from 30 working days to 5.
