The Compare The Market AU portal has compiled a rating of small cities in the world in terms of quality of life for those who prefer a calm and measured lifestyle.
The rating took into account the unemployment rate, health, safety and cost of food, the number of restaurants and entertainment venues, and even the number of rainy days per year.

Cyprus resort of Paphos has become the leader. On average, the city has only 70 rainy days a year. Residents are in excellent health, the city has a high safety record and more than 500 establishments of various cuisines and places for entertainment.
In second place is the capital of Lanzarote in the Canary Islands of Arrecife, Spain. The climate is almost always sunny (about 23 rainy days a year), the residents are in excellent health and there is a wide selection of bars and restaurants.
Italian Trapani in the western part of Sicily is in third place.
