The US Treasury Department has notified the Russian government of the decision to suspend the agreement on avoidance of double taxation from August 16, 2024.
"The United States has sent an official notification to the Russian Federation to confirm the suspension of paragraphs 4 of Articles 1 and Articles 5-21 and 23 of the Convention on the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Tax Evasion," the text of the message says.
