Paraguay joined to the OECD International Convention

On May 29^th, 2018, Paraguay signed the International Convention on Mutual Administrative Assistance in Tax Matters. Thus it became the 119th jurisdiction to accede to the international agreement to prevent tax avoidance.

The signing of this convention testifies to the adoption by Paraguay of the obligation to implement international standards and to combat tax evasion.

Recall that the convention is a key tool for the implementation of the Standard for the automatic exchange of financial information.
