On September 17th, 2019, a draft tax amendment for 2020 was introduced to the House of Representatives of the Netherlands.
The new tax plan involves mainly reducing the tax burden on various taxes for Dutch citizens.
As for business, the reduction in corporate tax rates, as previously planned, in 2020, should not be expected, this will happen only in 2021. Thus, the corporate tax rate for organizations whose income exceeds 200,000 euros per year will remain 25% in 2020. In 2021, the corporate tax rate for such organizations will be reduced to 21.7%.
