The European Parliament will have a hand in examination of national systems of taxation in the European Union

The European Parliament (EU Parliament) on its plenary session has discussed the struggle of the European Commission (EC) against tax evasion realized by multinational corporations. Consequently, its results do not satisfy the EC as long as it is going to make its own examination of practice of the usage of national EU legislation in the aim of tax evasion. For that goal strong tax ruling committee will be created.

This committee is going to include 45 parliamentarians. First steps towards its creation were made after decisions made by the EC concerned with the beginning of investigation of tax accounts and tax planning of multinational corporations in such countries as Luxembourg (Fiat, Amazon), Ireland (Apple), Belgium and the Netherlands (Starbucks).
