President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, signed the law “On Sanctions”. The announcement was published on the website of Verkhovna Rada.
The bill stipulates that Ukraine may impose sanctions against a foreign state, a foreign legal entity or individual, Ukrainian citizens, legal entities established under the laws of Ukraine, as well as in relation to other subjects, in order to protect its national interests, security and sovereignty.
According to the text of the Bill, law is designed to effectively respond to the "existing and potential threats to national interests and national security of Ukraine, including the hostilities, an armed attack from other states or from non-state entities."

There are 29 types of sanctions. Provided for anything that could possibly happen. It does not say only one thing - at whom the law is directed. Apparently, it will be clear at the time of the actual imposition of sanctions.
How intriguing, though!
