Malta continues to be an attractive financial center

19.01.2012 Only 15 years ago Malta in principle could not be named a major financial center since the economics was in its infancy. But at the moment it is a prosperous, emerging business center. According to the state officials’ opinions, more than 100 asset management companies and approximately 500 investment companies operate in Malta. Especially the accelerated development of this sector of economics has gained over past two or three years.
Financial services provided in Malta bring a huge contribution to GDP, about its 15%.
The successful development of the economics of Malta is indicated with the presence of a large number of economic relations with other countries such as Canada, USA, Italy, UK, Switzerland, etc.

Experts say that Malta has not been fully "discovered" by investors, it has huge potential, which can be used in future”.
