Greece will receive another tranche

21.10.2011 At the beginning of November current year Greece again must be provided with financial assistance in the amount of USD 8bln. The creditor as earlier is the "big three" - the IMF, the EU and the ECB. Let’s recall that this will be the sixth tranche provided in order to assist the most crisis-hit country. To get the funds Greece is to satisfy the necessary condition: to give the changes in the area of privatization, labor market and fiscal consolidation form of the law.
However not all countries of the EU are unanimous in their decision to continue rescuing rapidly sinking Greece. In particular Germany is categorically against that.

Expert’s opinion

“The situation connected with the provision by the "big three" financial aid to Greece is contradictory enough. Taking into consideration that it will be the sixth tranche and there are still no any apparent improvements in the state may be it’s reasonable to listen to Germany and stop lending. The two development scenarios: with a tranche and without it – should be in detail analyzed."
