Description

Founded in 1899, the bank has 143 branches in Cyprus. The bank's share in the Cyprus financial market in terms of deposits and loans is 31.3% and 27.5%, respectively. In Russia, the bank began its activities in 2007, opening the first branch of a Greek or Cypriot presence in the Russian market. In 2008, the bank expanded its presence in Russia by purchasing an 80% stake in Uniastrum Bank.
